What's a good soundtrack to you?

I'm partial to The Fire in the Flood at the moment.

also, from Remember Me at the opposite end of the musical spectrum.

Anything you're partial to at the moment?

Mass Effect is perennial; The Witcher III had a great soundtrack, and I've been listening to Firewatch a bit recently, too, it's very chill.

Whatever people thought of No Man's Sky, its soundtrack didn't disappoint.

I know it gets a bit of shade from people who think the P3 and P4 soundtracks were better, but I also really like Persona 5's music

I always go back to Okami - this one works wonders as an alarm when you haveto wake up.

And while the game itself was a forgettable mess, Bear McCreary was at his Bear McCreariest for Dark Void- the soundtrack album is worth it for the bass solo in this track alone:

Many of my favourites have already been mentioned (Remember Me, Mass Effect, No Man's Sky, Okami) but there are others.

Assassin's Creed 2, Brotherhood and Revelations are all great soundtracks for having on in the background while I am writing.

My favourite is probably Bastion. Just listen to this:

Ah, I can't listen to the Bastion soundtrack. I get all weird and lumpy-throaty. :(

I get that too but it just makes me listen to it more. Bastion is pretty unique for me that the more I replay it, the more I like it.

I'm not generally one for listening to game soundtracks out of context of the actual game itself, but I will happily make an exception for the soundtrack to Everybody's Gone to the Rapture, which I think is extraordinary.

You've reminded me of Journey's soundtrack, which is also astonishing.

Can't believe I forgot this, I was listening to it the other day. It's so good.

Far Cry 5 has some choons. Haven't played the game, but We Will Rise Again is great, and totally out of keeping with the gameplay videos.

Every time I hear the Grizzly Hills song I want to reinstall WoW. (How on earth is this expansion ten years old already?)

Grizzly Hills sounds great. I'm honestly kind of annoyed you blow through zones so fast now.

Civ 6's American theme's does a great rendition of Hard Times Come Again No More.

It's a cover of a rock song but I played the "Castle Rock" level in Rayman Legends yesterday and was grinning from ear to ear.

All the musical levels in Rayman Legends are superb, but Castle Rock is probably the best of them. Probably.
