Congratulations man. My wedding day was one of the best days of my life. My wife, family, my 2 week old son and my best friends that I never get to see as often as I would like. Altogether for one day. Wish you all the best going forward Cav.

Yeah, I should of made it clear. The x cloud is a nice extra but it's definitely not a selling point. I'll say it's more about how well it runs games at the price point it's at. That's where the value comes from for me. One of my favorite gaming systems I've ever owned.

Lies of P -9/10

I think we'll hear a lot more about this game and the team behind it going forward. For their first soulslike game they smashed it out the park. I've never heard of them until now. A real GOTY contender for me. Solid combat, interesting take on a dark pinocchio world and unexpectedly a great story. I've not played many dark souls games and I've heard it's not as hard as them. For me, it was very difficult so God knows how I'll find them other games. A easy recommend. Can't wait for the next installment.

Gotham knights -5/10

Really wanted to love this game but it just doesn't let you. Straight away the controls feel off. You always walk two step more than you want. At times you'll need to press the action button to open a door or something similar to that but you'll keep walking too far to the right or left. It won't take too much time and I feel like I'm over exaggerating it a bit, but it makes the game feel clunky. Traveling around is also boring. The bikes feel too simple and the hook shot comes across outdated. Something I did appreciate was the fact the combat wasn't the usual chain system you'll find in Spiderman and the Batman arkham games. The issue is it needs way more attacks and abilities. I can't believe it only has one combo string in the game by pressing the action button up to 5 times in a row and that's it. I think the idea behind this it is you can play with 4 different characters so between them you won't feel limited? Im not sure really, but it didn't work for me. I think my enjoyment mostly came from the interactions between the 4 Batman family members. I like all these characters better than Batman himself with Nightwing being my favorite, so seeing them get a whole game for themselves was cool. Can't recommend but if you like super hero and open world games there is some fun to be had.

  • Getting Game Pass games to stream using Xbox Cloud Gaming looks eminently doable though, I can see that being a really useful feature. Has anyone tried that here?

I've been using x cloud on the steam deck quite a bit. It works well with the games I've been playing. Games like Cocoon and similar indie games like that are great. I'm playing lot of Yakuza Like a dragon on it too. Which is a turn base RPG so I'm haven't had any issues with it. It plays a lot better than I thought. I really do wish for that Game Pass app though. You just can't beat playing natively.
Also I'm awful with PC stuff but getting X cloud on the deck as part of the "game mode" side of it was easy. I'm not a PC gamer at all so keeping the console like feel was important to me witch it did.
