Captain Soc-wash - Pirating ho!

I think I'm on week 10… I never played it very consistently.

I hate PvP in this game. But, with it being a special Hourglass weekend event with double reputation, we figured we'd give it a try if only to get vaguely closer to the Ghost curse.

What a shit show that mode is. We did a whole bunch of dives, with the following results:

• Two wins, both against people who clearly didn't know what they were doing (one boat went straight into rocks right after we surfaced).
• Several losses against people who knew what they were doing (but generally did the 'board, kill, spawn camp' play, which is shit).
• One loss against a teleporting cheater, who proceeded to play very offensive music after we noted we'd got his gamertag.
• One loss against a pair who did nothing but ram us.

Only one loss was genuinely fun, because we both ran out of supplies and after we basically mounted their boat, it turned into a cluster fuck of yelling jibes (comedy ones, not nasty), jumping onto each others decks, bucketing onto the opposite boat and shooting rivals into the stratosphere with the reworked blunderbuss. They won, it took 45 minutes, but it was fun.

Never doing Hourglass again. Fuck that mode.
