Did anyone buy this? It's absolutely brilliant, and a lovely surprise.
I wouldn't have gone anywhere near it if it hadn't been free on PS5, but I'd recommend it to anyone now. It's sort of Viva Pinata crossed with a puzzle game, and the story has a lot of unexpected heart.
It also has the theme tune of the year, but we all knew that already.
I have it on PS5 thanks to Plus, but, as I don't have a PS5, this reply is almost certainly not worth the time and energy it took me to type, and definitely not worth the time and energy it took you to read.
Have you finished it, MPH? Knowing I'd never play it, I read an article about the ending.
Well now.
I haven't finished it, but it's already hitting some pretty deep emotional beats. It's also strangely horrifying, the way their limbs mutate, and the characters' complete lack of concern.
It's just a very intriguing game.
Not a spoiler in the truest sense, but still hiding it…
Spoiler - click to showFrom what I know, there's a very clear point of no return - it's here things go… well. The recommendation is that it's not really suitable for kids, but then I wouldn't know for sure. But it definitely sounded dark.
