First Light feels like it simplifies Hitman to add in bits of other more action-orientated games, and then the end product isn't especially satisfying, even if they have tightened a few bits up mechanically. Still a fine game, which tells a decent Bond yarn, with a surprisingly decent Bond, but I wouldn't go out of my way to recommend it to anyone who wasn't already interested.

It Takes Two I think Marit and I must've completed to about 90% earlier in the year, came back to make some more progress a few days back and it turned out we only had about 45 minutes of largely victory lap left. Lovely game though, and seeing as I'm hugely influenced by the tone and setting of things I imagine I'll like Split/Fiction even more, as and when we get around to it.

Carrion I'd finished before, and I only very rarely replay games these days, but I wanted something Halloween-appropriate to run through quickly, and it remains unique as a game that actually lets you be the monster. Controlling the monster towards the end gets a little tricky at times, but other than that I still really like it. Fantastic atmosphere, and still unique.

Anyone who fancies the idea of playing a relatively short metroidvania where instead of playing Samus or a Belmont you play as a sort of evil The Thing / World of Goo hybrid… well, doesn't really have any other option than to play this, I suppose?
