Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 (zzzz) and Horizon Chase Turbo (what?)

The email's boast that I was getting £40.00 worth of games was less than motivating. That's not even as much as a new full price game, Sony - sit down before you hurt yourself.

Do you think we're going to see the baton being handed back to Microsoft next generation? It seems like the console wars always have this cycle to them…. Sony seem to be floundering a little at the moment.

It's really starting to look that way. Microsoft have been very clever in locking people into GamePass in particular - a range of introductory offers and a very generous upgrade plan for the Ultimate version of the pass have given people years of membership in many instances for very little outlay. That gives you all first-party games on day one going right into the launch of the next console. With that in mind, why would you not go with Microsoft's offering - at least initially?

Obviously it depends on the specs of the new machines as well - but the Xbox One X is a real feat of engineering and if they can keep that kind of quality going through to next gen then they're really going to start to regain a lot of lost ground. Sony just seems complacent at the moment.

Horizon Chase Turbo was on my wishlist for when it got cheap. It's good!

I mean, not 'yearly subscription' good, but hey. PES can get to fuck. Seriously, talk about pleasing a very small chunk of your audience… anyone who wanted it has it and the new one is out soon. Pffft.

PES has been replaced by Detroit: Become Human. Still shit, obviously, but possibly with slightly wider appeal.

It's the Deluxe edition so, I believe, it also includes Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls. Three games! And all the pressing X to Jason you can handle.

I hope it is backlash related. Shit games are bad enough, but picking a second-place football game two months before the new one comes out is fucking shocking.

I would rather have the football game.
