Merry Christmas all! We've been up two and a half hours, and the kids have opened about half of their pile. I reckon 11am is acceptable for the booze to begin, right?

We're having our second 'quiet' Christmas in a row. Previously, we've either flown back to the UK to visit family (the last time was an unmitigated disaster of cancelled flights and general shitness) or been the people who invite round friends who otherwise decided to spend Christmas in a foreign country alone. This year, it's a late lunch/early dinner for two, a nice bottle of wine, and then some LEGO building together since we have a few sets that haven't been touched (probably the Piranha Plant today, the Deku Tree feels like an all-day effort). Peaceful.

I'm not a fan of the holiday itself but I hope everyone enjoys it in whichever way you see fit to celebrate it. Someone gave me SteamMoney™ so I'm trying to figure out how to spend it when I have pretty much everything I want in my Steam library already.

Merry Christmas everyone! A quiet one here (it's our second one in a row following a major bereavement, which sucks) but I have eaten SO MUCH and played card games with the family so it's been quite good fun. Hope you all had a good one.

Merry Christmas all. Had a lovely time but not am now in the sadness phase having dropped my mum at the train station at 12pm. My Missus Dad is still here but departing tomorrow, am looking forward to my last night on the camp bed, which is fine in a 4/10 experience that facilitates everyone else having an actual bed.

2025 needs to be the year we actually sort out our wedding.
