Ninchilla
I'll have a look, sure; I just liked the theme of those three characters in Paris.

I'm in if that happens. I mean, I have the full game anyway, but I'm still in.
I thought you had it on PC? I think the contracts are platform-specific.
Me? I have it on PC and PS4.
Of course you do…
Hey, BAFTA is a blessing for getting everything twice. :D
Trying to think/remember what NPCs in the Final Test (bar Jasper Knight) would make good contract targets, and drawing a blank. Most of them just kind of stand around, as far as I remember, so it's hard to think of ones that would make for an interesting approach.
Right, I’ve made a Santa Fortuna contract for you to try. I’ve only had time for a preliminary run so there’s plenty of room for improvement. Good luck.
(I’ve selected a particular disguise and melee weapon for use, but they always show up as optional; I assume you score more if you use them?)
(I believe so, yeah.)
Not sure I'll get a chance to attempt it tonight, but I'll let you know when I do.
Second Elusive Target kicks off in Santa Fortuna tomorrow, too.
Good luck, everyone!
Bloody hell, Gar, did it have to be that exit!?
GG, man. I should have tried to take out the cameras, really, but I still managed to eke out a marginal win on the leaderboards. That was fun.
ME AGAIN.
New contract on the ICA Training Facility (Final Test): 2-01-0232598-14, General Precision (yes, it's a terrible name, but it's 11:33pm and I'm too tired to think of anything better).
Come at me, murder-bros!
EDIT:
Elusive Target #2 down, Silent Assassin.
This one seemed easier.

Tried this earlier and found it quite hard. The Suit Only requirement is causing me a few challenges. Looking forward to trying it again later.
Bollocksed up the Elusive Target. This is becoming a theme.
Oh dear; where'd you go wrong?
Currently creeping through Santa Fortuna on a first SASO attempt; Jorge down, now trying to get into the compound. I'm leaving Martinez for last, because I think she'll be easiest.
I'm sure I'll be disproven shortly.

Fatal misjudgement. It took me ages to find him and when I did he was holed up in the locked house in the shanty town. I figured I could just open the door, throw in a fragmentation grenade and leg it to the boat. I didn’t even get close.
Oops.
Spoiler - click to showThere are a couple of possible locations for this one; two, at least. I got him in the other one - the militia safehouse in the middle of town. Restarted a couple of times to get the lay of the land, then grabbed a street soldier disguise; dropped a gun on the stairs, tossed a coin to distract the one guy upstairs who never turned around, then lethal-poisoned his wine while nobody was looking.

Martinez should be pretty easy:
Spoiler - click to showSneak in through the gate by the river, up the drainpipe, round the back of the house then hide in her office until she comes in.
I haven't yet worked out how to get into the coca fields - presumably there's a way in apart from the two guarded bridges that you get to by going in via the Shaman route, but I haven't found it if so.
That's basically the way I got in:
Spoiler - click to showDropped a gun on the left-hand bridge, then threw a coin to attract one of the guards; while he was away, I subdued the other one and dragged him back across the river to the bushes there. Cleared out the other guards (and got the Nature Finds A Way challenge), then snuck round to Jorge's hut. Lured the guy out with the AC and stashed him in the crate, then his in the shed til Jorge came in, hopped out, and strangled him.
EDIT: Delgado down; still un-spotted, but damn the mansion is tense in just a suit…
EDIT 2: And done. Martinez was easy.
How did you get into the compound, out of interest?
Spoiler - click to showThrough the underground caves into the mansion basement. Up the stairs into the museum, snuck out and up the outside stairs to the balcony. Into Rico's bedroom, turned on the bathroom tap to get the maid and butler in and choked out in a cupboard, then Rico and his wife patrolled in; stuffed them into a different cupboard in Mrs. Delgado's wardrobe. Back downstairs the way I came, took out the guard by the low wall near the hot tub, and left the compound via the scaffolding/broken wall.
3 levels of Mastery left, then it's on to Mumbai!
Oh, Mumbai is fantastic. A really special level.
Elusive Target #2 down, Silent Assassin.
This one seemed easier.
I think you made the news
Had a brief wander round Mumbai just now. Wandered through the sewers, and stole a denim angel costume from a laundrette. Found Dangan, but didn't kill him yet. Already managed to get myself compromised, and accidentally killed a guard.
I really need to make a contract featuring 47 creating a low-budget Bollywood remake of IT by murdering people in the Mumbai sewers while dressed in a clown suit.
That would be amazing.
Please be aware, I'm recording this entire thread for evidence following Ninchilla's inevitable Falling Down moment.
I wonder if the US suburb map would be more thematically appropriate for IT, though?
Haven’t seen that one yet but it’s a good point. Can you even mandate the clown suit or is it just a cosmetic reskin of the basic suit?
…I don't know. I'll check.
EDIT: It's just "suit". Tried to make a contract to murder all the church staff in Sapienza as Santa. I was going to call it "Commercial Encroachment".
Mumbai run #1 complete; 0 points.
Things got a bit… messy in the middle.

Apparently - and I don't know if this is true - you can unlock a weapon called the New Bat by completing the Corky Commotion escalation in Paris. That weapon can only be used by the clown so you can force use of the clown suit by specifying that weapon. Though it does mean your contract can only be properly completed by people who have also completed that escalation, I guess.
Going to try the escalation at some point to see if it's true.
It's true-ish; there are three escalations like that. One in Paris for the bat, one in Hokkaido for a magnum-powered pistol, and one in Marrakesh for a silenced sniper rifle.
I think the bat can be used with any outfit, but it's not Suspicious to carry it as the clown.
In what universe could it possibly not be suspicious to see a clown wandering around with a weapon?
It's an in-universe character thing, I think? He's not just a clown, he's Corky, and that makes it okay. For some reason.
So famous clowns have open carry permits. Got it.
Mumbai run #2: Silent Assassin, Suit Only.
This is a hell of a level. Going to have to do some of the mission stories next.

Only for baseball bats.
Okay, quick question: does anyone here ever take a briefcase in as equipment? It seems completely pointless; if I want one, it's usually for a sniper rifle, which I'll have the ICA drop in… in a briefcase.
What's the benefit?

Jesus H Christ you are a machine. (A killing machine, obviously). How you did that without manipulating the mission stories I will never know. I reckon I can do Vanya Shah fairly easily, Dangan Rawood with care but got no idea on the Maelstrom as yet.
It really is an amazing level though. Have you found the Kashmirian yet? It opens up the level and the characters' routines in ways I've not seen the game do anywhere else.
No, I haven't found him yet, but there's tons more to explore (I'm only Mastery 10 yet), so I'll find him at some point.
SASO:
Spoiler - click to showShah is easy; start in the train yard, creep in the back of the warehouse, through the security car into her bathing area; strangle, shoot, or drown as appropriate. Rawood, I crept through the construction site and found some scaffolding that led to climbable ledges; shimmied up there, distracted his bodyguard with a weapon where he has the conversation with the lawyer about burning everything, shot him in the head, stuffed him in a box, and legged it back the way I came. The Maelstrom I lucked out on in a few ways. I stumbled on what seems to be the least-guarded entrance to the Crows' lair, and found a photo of the guy. Back outside and wandered the slums for a bit checking out NPCs until Diana ID'd him. He happened to patrol past a wagon full of gas canisters while nobody else had line of sight; 2 bullets, accident kill, job done.
Since the last patch my game has crashed consistently when restoring the PS4 from rest mode. Is this happening to anyone else? Didn’t happen previously.
Not an issue I've had, but I don't leave apps running in Rest mode.
Is there anything 47 can't do? International assassin, catwalk model, rock drummer, painter, and now I just spent 15 minutes running a barber shop.
Missing out on all the Hitman fun because I'm with family all Christmas. I'll be back to blundering my way around in the new year.
I just spent 15 minutes running a barber shop.
The first time I did that, I wondered why I hadn't got the challenge for shaving everyone that wanted it… then I realised…

It has its uses
Didn't they patch that out yet..?

Same.
They’re well aware of the homing killer briefcase, to the point where the latest patch notes included reassurances that they hadn’t yet removed it. I think they find it as funny as everyone else does.
