Game of the Year?
Game of the Year?
Everything about this game looks incredible (except the title).
It's not a great name, but the award for Worst Name With War In It has to go to f2p shooter WarFace.
It is a weird name for a fantasy game, alright - sounds more like a scifi shooter than a sword-themed tactical miniatures game.
I've made it to level five or so in the campaign and it's the first one that's given me trouble – I'm still very much in the tutorial (this one's just introduced wagons for moving troops around), but the gung-ho approach that's served me well so far is less applicable in this kind of defensive mission.
I'm having fun, though. It's introducing mechanics at a solid pace, constantly giving you new approaches but not overwhelming. I'm not entirely convinced by the pixel artstyle, which feels like a dedication to nostalgia for the sake of it. I think it's actually hurt the readability of the battlefield, as there's not as much visual distinction between some unit types as I'd like.
Are you playing on the TV or handheld?
I've tried both - it's marginally better handheld, but still not "at-a-glance".
Never heard of it.
Anyone fancy a multilayer async shot of this?
Allllllllllllllll byyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy myyyyyyyyyyyseeeyyyeeeeyeeelf
I thought this was Warframe, and assumed you were taking the piss with mention of async multiplayer.
It really is a shit name, isn't it.
(I don't have Wargroove either. Despite those dogs looking incredible.)
This is joining Xbox Game Pass on May 2.
Going to use that as a demo for is I want the Switch version or not then.
