Maybe not quite a bargain - yet - but Assassin’s Creed Mirage is down to £31.49 on Xbox. I know Ninchilla was watching this one closely.

Still £44.99 on PS5, alas.
I assume Xbox has just kicked off their Christmas sale early - give it a day or two and they will align, I'm sure.
Sony's "End of Year Deals" is apparently their last sale of 2023, but I'm perfectly content to wait and see what happens in January; I've still got Horizon and BG3 to finish, and foolishly started God of War Ragnarök the other day, too - I'm not lacking of stuff to do!

Apparently you were right - Sony have launched their January sale 11 days early, and Mirage has dropped to £31.49 on PSN, too.
In case anyone isn't aware, the brilliant Guardians of the Galaxy game is free on the Epic Games store at the moment. You've got until the 11th Jan to grab it, and it's well worth doing so because it's ace.
is it tho
Yep.
Yep.
no
This is exactly the sort of robust, respectful debate that I love about The Society.

I have missed it.
No you haven't.
Yes he has.
We should run a poll; let the people decide.
I suspect they've had enough of all this pro-Guardians propaganda.
Guardians is decent; I think "brilliant" is pushing it a bit though. For free you can't complain.
Bloody centrists.
Hi all, sorry to be off topic. But there is a good Digital Board games bundle on Humble bundles. I nearly bought the Steam version of Gloomhaven in their sale but backed out last minute, but it's cheaper in this deal and has everything, plus a load of others I'll at least try as a couple I've wanted the real boardgame versions of too.
I can vouch for Blood Rage, Love Letter, Carcassonne and Splendor all being solid board games in real life, since I've got and played them all. Digitally, who knows… but I do remember our Soc mobile Carcassonne games being pretty fun.
No you haven't.
Yeah, fair cop tbh

OK Keith Garmer.
Hold on. From PWB felt did say: "The stress of taking on a job that is different to what you usually do"
You've been hired by Eidos-Montréal to shill their mediocre games on the Soc haven't you.
#sherlock
Nah, I do that for free.
Partly because they won't return my emails asking for money.
Quite a niche bargain, but considering we've just been discussing it. Atelier Ryza 1, 2 and 3 are currently on sale on PSN. You can combine it with some PSN vouchers from Shopto for a nice little discount.
It's thigh time.
Not just Ryza, it seems pretty much every Atelier game is discounted, including the Mysterious trilogy which is usually £70 but is now £50. I can't vouch for them yet as I haven't played them, but I know they're a lot less 'qol' then Ryza so I hear, like item synthesis minigames are different and afaik items you make are finite and not rechargable. These never go on sale so I am definitely thinking about it…(impulse bought Ryza 3 and Sophie 2 off Amazon the other day after that gacha made me sad, pretty much same price though)
Ryza on the other hand, I do love and if you ever played FFXIV and enjoyed Botanist, Blacksmith, Alchemist and…all the crafters, Ryza is basically that but a whole game.
Would rather these go on sale on Steam though, play them on my Steam Deck. ;_: (Got Sophie 1 and two other games already).
Marvel's Midnight Suns is free on Epic this week. If you've ever wanted to play a game that's one-third XCOM, one-third deck builder and one-third superhero house share simulator then this is for you! (Get it, it's ace)
I don't play PC games but, based on the glowing recommendations here, I still grabbed it. You never know what I'll want to play when I retire.
Yeah, that's a great giveaway. I'd been umming and ahhing about buying it for months.
Metaphor ReFantazio is on sale at Amazon for £34.99, both PS5 and Xbox versions - which seems like a very good price so soon for a game that's a potential GOTY contender.
